Our Story

Crafted for Calm, Built for Every Journey.

It Started with a Question

Why does family travel have to be this hard?

We asked that question in 2019, watching parents juggle strollers, carry-ons, boarding passes, and a toddler having a meltdown in Terminal 3. There had to be a better way — luggage that works with families, not against them.

Design That Listens

MAITUD was founded on a simple belief: the best products come from watching how people actually move. We spent months in airports, hotels, and train stations, observing the small frustrations that add up — a suitcase that tips over when a child sits on it, a laptop bag that requires a full stop to access, wheels that wake up the entire hotel hallway.

Every MAITUD product starts with a problem we have witnessed firsthand. We prototype, test in real travel conditions, iterate, and only then commit to production.

Engineering Calm

Our Journey Rider series turns airport terminals into a ride for kids and a relief for parents. A foldable seat rated for 175 lbs, a safety belt, dual brake pedals for moving walkways, and whisper-quiet 360-degree spinner wheels — every detail exists for a reason.

Our Modular Pro series rethinks business travel with a detachable crossbody bag that separates at the gate — one carry-on becomes two bags at your destination, no extra luggage needed.

What We Stand For

  • Honesty in design. What you see is what you get. Our product images show real products in real conditions — no exaggerated renders, no misleading angles.
  • Durability over trends. Polycarbonate shells, aluminum telescoping handles, and YKK zippers are not marketing bullet points — they are the minimum standard.
  • Calm over chaos. Travel will always have surprises. Your luggage should not be one of them.

The Road Ahead

We are a small team with a big ambition: to make MAITUD the luggage brand that families and professionals trust for every journey — from the first family vacation to the hundredth business trip. We are just getting started.
